Emerald Ash Borer

Emerald Ash Borer Control

Banner Sales and Consulting, Inc is located where the Emerald Ash Borer was introduced. In 2000, we were called to a site two miles from the epicenter and began treating. These original 30 trees are alive and prospering 11 years later on the oldest living site of treated ash trees in the United States. We recommend treating trees holistically using numerous products, depending on the level of damage to the tree.  Our program has saved tens-of-thousands of ash trees, preventively and curatively, even in heavily infested areas.

Case study: A 99% survival rate of Pointer-treated ash trees

In Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, an island of ash trees thrive amid a sea of dead trees. Ash trees have been treated in the city with Direct-Inject applications of Pointer insecticide. Since 2002, only several of the 640 ash trees being treated have been lost to Emerald Ash Borer.

This is only one of hundreds of Pointer success stories. Visit arborsystems.com for research details, field reports and user testimonials. Also visit treeresearch.org to see Dr. Dave Roberts, the discoverer of EAB, from Michigan State University, discuss “The Michigan Experience.”
